The Bay (2012)

I had the pleasure of watching this one a while ago.  It was just by happenstance that I even ran across it.  If you're into aliens, parasites, creepy-crawlies, and creature-features, then I'm sure this little ditty will suit you well.

The movie starts off as researchers are doing studies on a lake where the fish are getting sick due to some pretty nasty parasites (see below).  Naturally, the whole thing gets out of hand; enter government intervention...at the eleventh hour.  I suppose my favorite part of this movie is the fact it is plausible.  They use a known parasite that has been found in fish and turn it into something much more disturbing and sinister.

Tune into The Bay and make sure you don't watch while eating your Long John Silvers take-out.
